I grew up in Costa Rica, where the air was thick with humidity, the food was fresh off the trees, and life moved at a Pura Vida pace. Stress wasn’t the default setting—it was something you shook off with the tropical breeze.

Then I moved to Los Angeles, straight into 12-hour workdays in the Hollywood film industry, running on processed catering food, caffeine, and just enough sleep to survive. The dry California air wasn’t just rough on my skin—it mirrored how I felt inside: overworked, stressed out, and disconnected from my own well-being. I had muscle aches, itchy, irritated skin, and a nervous system that never fully turned off. And yet, between work, friends, and life, I never seemed to have the time (or budget) for massages, elaborate self-care routines, or an overflowing supplement cabinet.

So I thought: what if one thing could do it all? That’s how MOHADA was born. I worked with professionals to develop adaptogenic bath salts that actually multitask—soaking away tension, soothing skin, calming the mind, and helping your body naturally adjust to stress. Because self-care shouldn’t feel like another thing on your to-do list.
