World’s first customer of red beer. It is said to be introduced in the 13th century, in an inn near the gates of Hamburg. Enthused sailors took it with them to sea, maybe in red wine casks like the ones we used. Thank you, Sailor, for your deeds! This beer with a malty note of history is dedicated to you! The Barbarossa I am Rotbier is a limited edition barrel aged craft beer. It aged in red wine barrels and is and has an ABV of 7%. A tribute to the sailors that made Hamburg to what it is, cheers to you!
