To ensure freshness, all orders received by Sunday 23:00 h are roasted on Monday and shipped on Tuesday.   B 1  – DARK ROAST This very full bodied blend is perfect for strong and chocolaty espressi. As a dark roasted espresso blend it has a low acidity, goes well as a classic espresso and is also keeping its character in milk mixed drinks such as flat whites, cappuccinos or lattes. FLAVOUR PROFILE: Spicy dark and chocolaty body, salted caramel and dried apricot aromas, bourbon whiskey, blood orange acidity. Roasted hazelnut and maple syrup notes.   BREWING ADVICE FOR A DOUBLE ESPRESSO ON PORTAFILTER MACHINES: * Coffee grounds: 20 g / 0,71 oz * Water temp: 93 °C / 199,4 °F * Shot time: 29 sec * Beverage weight: 35 g / 1,23 oz    TIP: * Distribute grounds evenly to avoid channeling. * Grind coarser for a quicker shot and diminished bitterness. * Use filtered water for better results. * Beans should degas 6 days from the roast date.   MORE INFO ON THIS COFFEE: PART 1 – YIRGACHEFFE, KOCHERE, AFRICA: This washed Yirgacheffe Kochere Grade 2 Arabica coffee was collected at the Boji Washing Station. It grew at 1.810 m above sea level on fertile and sandy loam and has a recognizable district character flavor that is known for exceptional citrus and floral flavors. The climate is „Woina dega“ and „Dega“ with a good rainfall distribution. „Woina dega“ (subtropical zone) includes the highland areas of 1.830 – 2.440 metres in elevation and has an average annual temperature of about 22 degrees Celsius with an annual rainfall between 510 and 1.530 millimetres. „Dega“ (cool zone) is above 2.440 metres in elevation with an average annual temperature of about 16 degree Celsius and an annual rainfall between 1.270 and 1.280 millimetres.   PART 2 – SERTÃOZINHO, BRAZIL: This natural processed coffee from Fazenda Sertãozinho in the region Sul de Minas in Brazil is a Yellow Bourbon, Mundo Novo variety. It was grown 1.000-1.300 meters above sea level. On this farm every step from planting to drying is done by hand.
